This custom house was designed for a large family on a 50 foot wide lot. The client was concerned that a three story home would overpower the neighbourhood and expressed the desire to keep the scale (front elevation) as small as possible.

Divine Home's architectural solution was to adopt a classic centre-hall layout which maximizes the space for rooms and minimizes the space needed for hallways. To give the house the same look and feel as the rest of the neighbourhood, a combination of brick and Indiana Limestone was used. A Mansard roof helped minimize the scale of the front of the home.
